Katrina McDonagh has been a senior veterinary nurse since 1991 with the majority of her career spent working here at Matraville Vets. She loves the all the multi-faceted aspects of her job, especially assisting in radiology, anaesthetics and answering all the questions that new fur baby parents have. When not working she is looking after her 3 kids, her cats Sidney and Cody, bearded dragon Beardy or taking her dog Lucy to the beach. Lucy accompanies Katrina to work every day and loves to welcome all our four legged (and two legged) visitors to the hospital, (especially puppies).

Children’s entertainer
If you had to describe yourself as an animal, which one would it be?
Elephant – loves family, good memory and long life (but hopefully not the saggy skin)
