Nuphi Ktalav started working at Matraville Vet Hospital in 2012 after she successfully completed a week of year 10 work experience and became a Kennel Hand. You may not have seen her in those early years as she was taking care of boarding animals, ensuring their health and happiness and the all-round cleanliness of the clinic. In the recent years however, she has been working as a veterinary nurse after receiving her accreditation in 2019. Even with a busy schedule, attending university, playing in a netball team, being a leader in the community and having a social life, Nuphi is still dedicated to working at Matraville Vet Hospital and being a part of the team.
What did you want to be when you were small?
I always wanted to be a vet or work in the science field one way or another.
If you had to describe yourself as an animal, which one would it be?
Penguin – I’m slow on land but a fast swimmer.
How many languages do you speak?
I speak two languages, Hebrew and English.
What celebrity would you like to meet over a cup of coffee?
The dead celebrities I would like to have coffee with are the Bronte Sisters, and a current celebrity I would like to have coffee with is Jane Goodall.
